Client Snapshot

  • Product: Modus โ€” HRIS, tasks, docs, accounting, CRM
  • Design Challenge: Make five tools feel like one coherent product
  • Validation: HR module tested against a real internal team process
  • Model: Same zero-handoff model used across every Logitron build
  • Result: 5 modules unified under one design system

The Result

5 Modules
Unified under one design system
Real Internal Use
Validated on a live HR process

Designed for the alliance partner program

The Problem

HRIS, tasks, docs, accounting, and CRM each carry their own workflows and mental models. The design challenge was making all five feel like one coherent product, not five tools bolted together behind a shared login.

Our Approach

We built one design system across five modules, sharing components and patterns across HR, tasks, docs, accounting, and CRM instead of designing each in isolation. Every screen was designed for daily operators: usability for people using it every day, not just feature density that looks impressive in a demo.

Design happened alongside engineering, using the same zero-handoff model used across every Logitron build. The HR module specifically was validated on a real workflow: an actual internal team HR process, not a mockup.

Key Decisions

  • Design System:Shared components, 5 modules
  • Usability Target:Daily operators, not demos
  • Process:Zero-handoff with engineering
  • Validation:Tested on real internal HR workflow
"One design system, five modules โ€” not five tools bolted together behind a shared login."

Inside the Design System

1. One Design System, Five Modules

Shared components and patterns across HR, tasks, docs, accounting, and CRM.

2. Designed for Daily Operators

Usability for people using it every day, not just feature density for a demo.

3. Designed Alongside Engineering

The same zero-handoff model used across every Logitron build.

4. Validated on a Real Workflow

The HR module tested against an actual internal team HR process, not a mockup.

"Five tools bolted together behind a shared login is not one product. One design system across all five modules is."
